Compassion International

 Many families have reaped the amazing rewards of personal satisfaction that can only come through sponsoring a child in need.  One of our families sponsors Narly, a darling eight-year-old girl from Salvador Allende, Columbia.  This has been a wonderful blessing not only for Narly, but for the entire sponsoring family as well.  The kids from the sponsor family have joyously participated with corresponding with Narly and sending her their handmade creations for special holidays and birthdays.  They've even made cards and notes in Spanish, Narly's native language!

Sponsoring children in need helps to break the cycle of poverty.  Compassion International exists as a Christian child advocacy ministry that is committed to releasing children from spiritual, physical, economic and social poverty and enables them to become responsible, fulfilled Christian adults.  Founded in 1952, Compassion began providing Korean war orphans with food, shelter, education and health care, as well as Christian teaching.  Today, Compassion helps more than 900,000 children in 24 countries.
