The mission of the Christian Counseling & Educational Foundation (CCEF) is to see hearts transformed as God applies his Word to the problems of life. The CCEF has seen - thousands of times - that, in Christ, God truly has given his people "everything we need for life and godliness" (2 Peter 1:3). God's grace, God's Word, and God's people are what Christians need for personal change, spiritual growth, and help with the pressing problems of life. Sadly, many in the church look elsewhere for help. They don't see how the Bible connects with their problems. Others think that biblical counseling is nothing more than throwing a Bible verse at a problem - and they've seen that approach come up empty. CCEF leads a biblical counseling movement that teaches people how to explore the rich wisdom of Scripture and apply it to the complexities of human life. Our unique synergy of services helps CCEF accomplish this. Resources available through CCEF include an annual conference, counseling services, academic training, church support, and publications, including the Journal of Biblical Counseling which devotes three issues a year to advances in biblical counseling.
